About the artwork
Septembermorgen (German for "September Morning), depicts a chance encounter with a mallard during an morning in my hometown. Initially, I set out to capture the sunrise, but the sky was overcast with heavy clouds. Instead, I found inspiration in the ducks swimming nearby. I was captivated by the perfectly still, mirror-like surface of the water, gently disturbed by the ducks as they glided gracefully across it.
