About the artwork
Luminous Drift is inspired by an early morning at Lake Starnberg, when the rising sun bathes the scene in warm, glowing light. I tried to capture the gentle shimmer on the evenly rolling waves, with the foreground foam catching the light in soft, bokeh-like highlights. The painting conveys the calm, glowing rhythm of the water as the day quietly begins.
