About the artwork
Illuminated draws its inspiration from a crisp autumn morning in 2023 at Lake Starnberg, near Munich. As we waited by the water's edge, the sun gently crested over the hills, instantly illuminating the waves and casting a warm glow across our faces. The soft, golden light reflecting off the water’s surface perfectly captured the serenity and magic of that moment, inviting the viewer to relive the quiet beauty of a peaceful sunrise.
