MEET THE ARTIST

About

I'm Anika, a self taught oil painter
living in Munich, Germany. My realistic work is deeply inspired by clouds and waterscapes, with the intention of taking the viewer into a mesmerizing and calming moment. With great attention todetail, I want to capture images that stop people in their busy
lifes, inviting them to pause and appreciate the beauty around them.

My ideas come from
real-life moments, which I love to photograph and recreate in my
own way on canvas. My approach to art is grounded in my desire to
evoke emotions in the viewer, using my paintings to transport them to a peaceful and calming world.

I share my painting process
with more than 100,000 followers on Instagram (@asimeth_art) and my work is now collected worldwide, especially in Europe, the UK and the US.
